Last night, around 11:30, I went to bed in New England. When I woke up this morning I had been transported. TO NARNIA!?
In other words, when I went to bed last night there was something like 2 or 3 inches of snow on the ground. When I got up this morning there was something more like 16-17 inches.
Holy. Snowstorm. Batman.
According to my dad there hasn't been this much snow for something around twelve years. Last time there was this much I was a lil' child crawling around in an igloo my uncle and I built in my grandmother's front yard.
I don't even know what to do right now. And it is STILL snowing.
Whoa.

On top of all this fun, it is windy too.

Just to really give you a perspective on this, that is ME. In galoshes and pajama pants, standing outside of my garage, snow almost touching my knees. And I'm short, but not THAT short.
In case you can't tell I am a little flabbergasted. I don't know what is to be done here. My poor dad is going to have to snow blow us out. And our driveway is like over 300 feet long...
So I'm not going anywhere for a while. I actually can't anyway because "my" car is in the shop getting some expensive shenanigans (heater coil? water pump? something...) fixed. So I guess today is a good day to catch up on things I have been slacking on. Like...cleaning my room and doing laundry. I'll crank up some music (I'm thinkin' Zooey Deschanel doing "Baby, it's cold outside") and get 'er done. I'll do some writing (still battling the package for my novel that needs to be sent out to an agent. Synopsis went from 9 pages, down to 7, but I need to get it to under 5. Blarg.) And get some stuff together for classes starting next week (oh yeah, I am actually going to a real, non-online college. Shocker.). *Sigh. As long as we don't lose power I will be alllllll set.
Oh New England, you're just so...special.
** Update at 3 in the afternoon. Now there has got to be something like close to 20 inches. And apparently we should expect at least 24. AHHHH!!!! All time record for my state!

We had one foot of snow and I though we had a ton! Shows what I know.
