"...I just like grass. A lot."
This was the end of a conversation I had with my sister yesterday morning, after church.
The full conversation went something like this;
"Why do you never walk on the stairs? They don't want you on their grass, Bella."
"I like their grass. It is very nice. I'd give it a 7."
"You like their grass?"
"Actually, I just like grass. A lot."
And I do. Vibrant green, lush, around 2 inches long grass. Smells good, feels good, looks good. I love it.
Surprisingly, despite my loathing of feet, I really enjoy being barefoot when the grass is just right. That is one of the things that makes spring and summer so exciting; THE green blades of GRASS between my toes.
But, as I have mentioned before, my yard is...wet. Right now we I have more of a wetland/swamp type thing going, and that is just no good for barefoot walking.{ In case you ever wondered *shhhuuuucksmmuucchhyukkk* is the sound a swamp-yard makes when walked upon. Pure nastiness}
So currently I am (not so) patiently waiting for it to dry up. Then I am going to kick off my shoes, walk/jump/frolic around in it, and perhaps lay on it. Oh yes, I am.
What is your favorite part of spring?
That grass needs to be cut...
